150-3-2.5 RT air chuck

This family of chucks was developed in order to find an economical chucking solution for Index Tables, Rotary Tables, Pallet Changers and other rotating elements for the CNC machining operations (vertical or horizontal).

The chuck can get the air for open/ close the jaws while rotating. No need to stop the machine or the table operation.

This family can be produced from 80mm dia. chuck up to 300mm dia. air chuck with 2, 3 or 4 jaws. The jaws stroke on the dia. can be from 0.7mm up to 5mm – in special cases we can increase the stroke to 10mm (this will effect the chucks’ height). If needed, we can offer these chucks with center through hole.

For example, the 150 RT model can be had with 30mm through hole dia.

The TH option gives the ability to “burr” long parts into the chucks’ body and clamp the part’s machined area very close to the chuck’s top jaws.

Also if needed we can supply these chucks sealed. Ideal for grinding operations, when “aggressive” material is being machined and helps keep the chuck’s accuracy up to 3 times longer than an “open” chuck.

The max. speed for these chucks is 100rpm.
The clamping force of the 150mm dia. model is 13 KN in 6 bars.
The weight of this model is 9 KGs including 1 set of steel top jaws H-38mm.
Top jaws can be ordered according to customers’ demand and specifications (also hardened and ground).
